Steel Waterwell Casing

Strong steel flush-jointed casing, threaded to British Standard B.S.879 : 1965 for use in water well construction or as a re-useable casing for site investigation using shell and auger tools. The tube is from hot-finished seamless steel, grade ST52 or API 5L.

Description

Strong steel flush-jointed casing, threaded to British Standard B.S.879 : 1965 for use in water well construction or as a re-useable casing for site investigation using shell and auger tools. The tube is from hot-finished seamless steel, grade ST52 or API 5L.

 

A heavy-duty Casing Drive Head can be used in conjunction with the casing, with a minimum 1″ wall thickness and cross holes to fit surging bar. Available with either a male or female thread to connect to the casing.

 

A Casing Shoe may be joined to the lower lower end of the casing string, with either a male or female thread and a hardened, internal chamfer. Also available with a serrated cutting edge, or with tungsten carbide inserts.

 

A lightweight Casing Hanger, manufactured from the same material as the casing may be fitted to the top of the casing string. This has two cross holes for Clevis and Pin. The casing hanger is used for suspending the casing and lowering it into the borehole.

Supplied in standard lengths of 0.75, 1.0, 1.5 and 3.0 m. Other lengths up to 6 m available on request. On request, other thread forms may be supplied to suit different applications.
